On Monday, the U.S. Supreme Court rejected the challenge brought against the decision of the Oklahoma Supreme Court striking down an attempt to place a “personhood” amendment to ballot in Oklahoma. The challenge was brought by anti-abortion group Personhood Oklahoma, which supported the movement for a measure to be put to ballot for declaring that a human embryo gains ‘personhood’ at the moment of its conception.

If the measure had been put to ballot then the government would have required Oklahoma voters to decide whether to change the definition of a human being to include a fertilized egg or not. The proposed measure was challenged by the ACLU and the Center for Reproductive Rights in March, and the Oklahoma Supreme Court had blocked putting the measure to ballot as the question had already been decided by the U.S. Supreme Court.

Personhood Oklahoma challenged that decision. However, the U.S. Supreme Court rejected the application without any further comment on the issue. Both supporters and detractors of the measure have opined that the constitutional amendment proposed by the measure would have had the result of banning abortions in the state of Oklahoma.

However, Personhood Oklahoma alleges that the rights to speech and exercise democracy of its supporters have been hampered by not allowing to put the measure to ballot, as similar measures have already been allowed to be put to the ballot by governments in Colorado and Mississippi, though in both states, the anti-abortionists lost.

The snakes have been confiscated because they’re deadly poisonous and can cause a lot of terror if let loose during transportation. After all, not many people would have forgotten how a serpent-handling Mercer County pastor died after being bitten by a timber rattle snake last year.

There are various laws made, which states that women who dress topless in public will be sent to jail. A law passed stated that instead of constructing a costly death chamber the inmate should be hanged in the prisoner?s gymnasium. In the year 2012, the number of infringement lawsuits filed doubled and the lawyers predicted it to increase day by day.
