UK: Inflation Hits Four-Year Low

UK inflation rate fell to a four year low of 1.7% in the month of February 2014 due to the fall in petrol prices. The Consumer Prices Index rate (CPI) was found to lower than the set target of 2% by the Bank of England for the second consecutive month. In the month of January, the Consumer Prices Index was found to be 1.9%. The Retail Prices Index (RPI) also saw a fall from 2.8% in January to 2.7% in February. The petrol prices saw a fall of .8p in February when compared to the prices in January....
Madoff's Former Employees Found Guilty

Five former employees of the disgraced Wall Street financier, Bernard Madoff, had been pronounced guilty by a U.S. Federal jury in New York. The jury found that all the five former employees of Madoff had helped him to conspire and operate a Ponzi scheme. The judgement was given at the trial that had lasted for six months. In 2009, Bernard Madoff was convicted and sentenced to 150 years in prison for a $65 billion fraud scheme. Investors had lost around $20 billion by investing in the Ponzi schemes...
